Terms of Service
Effective date: April 7, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using the WJTA Learning Management System ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users: learners, employers, verified trainers, and administrators.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Accounts are created by WJTA staff or employer administrators. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify support@wjta.org immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Training and certification
- Course completions, assessment results, and field verifications are recorded permanently as compliance records.
- Credentials issued by the Platform represent completion of WJTA-defined training requirements. They do not constitute a guarantee of workplace safety or regulatory compliance.
- WJTA reserves the right to revoke or correct credentials if records are found to be inaccurate or fraudulently obtained.
- Certification expiration dates are calculated automatically per program rules. You are responsible for tracking and renewing your certifications.
4. Payments and refunds
Course purchases are processed by Stripe. All prices are in USD. After a course enrollment is activated (access granted), refunds are not available unless the course content is materially inaccessible due to a Platform error. Contact support@wjta.org within 7 days of purchase for refund inquiries.
5. Employer accounts
Employer administrators may purchase seats and assign them to employees. Employers are responsible for ensuring that employees assigned to courses meet any prerequisite requirements. Employee training records remain associated with the individual learner even after employment ends.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share account credentials or allow another person to complete training on your behalf.
- Attempt to bypass assessments or field verification requirements.
- Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to access records or portals beyond your assigned role.
7. Intellectual property
All course content, checklists, and materials are owned by WJTA or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission from WJTA.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is." WJTA makes no warranties regarding uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WJTA's liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount paid by you for the course or service at issue in the 90 days prior to the claim.
10. Changes to terms
WJTA may update these terms. Continued use of the Platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
